I loved this game! I will be happily sending to anyone who needs to practice their sightreading. However, I thought I should let you know the "low hp warning" effects gave me a headache.

Got to 35 so far, pretty fun! A full game that's designed to teach people how to read rhythms via notation would be super cool! Maybe I'll get on that lol

ermmmmmm what the seal!

Al primer intento 15 y al segundo 18 diomio envidia betowen

Literally don't know how to read music D:
Once the cues went away I was cooked

OKay okay .... quite hard but my best score is 5 ....  i'm so bad

That was a cool funny game

I can't believe I can actually play Louie Zong's video!

I love the sea lion's face looking at me when I fail. (¬ω¬)

After Level12, the speed of the gauge decrease is very fast, but once you succeed, the 5-second grace period is restored, so I only need to succeed in the first beat and the last beat, and I can fail a little in the other parts of the game.

I could go up to Level20 at the maximum.

My best attempt is 12, I won't upload the result screen for spoiler reasons.

and pls add fullscreen mode

After watching the original video from Louie Zong... This is a really good adaptation to video game form. Good job, Toby.

I ACTUALLY learned something cause of this game!

I like this game. Good  job because it is hard to make games like this!

cant believe this game is real omg, its very fun but i do wish there was a delay setting or calibration screen to make it so things line up, that and an option to change the resolution to fit certain screens <33

(+3)

very fun game! though, i wish there was a way to adjust hit delay. besides that and the health drain being a bit too strong on slower parts, the game is great!

I absolutely love this to bits, and I'd love to see it expanded on a little! I'm having huge issues with input delay, though, because the game is forced into windowed mode and I seemingly can't change it.

it dont work on window my download dont work how fix :edit i was using the non extracted version

they did it they made it real

I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS REAL. The game is very cute and fun but sometimes it throws you off whenever you're supposed to start clapping since there's no indication.

rhythm heaven rip off

Need I say less?

Bro its based on

it's real.........

Such a cool implementation, it was really fun! I love the removal of cues, it makes things way harder. If I may, there are 3 little things I think would make the game way better if improved!

-There is no way to adjust for audio-video latency

-Slow sections can drain your health faster than you can gain it

-The slowest sections are easy and kind of tedious

Awesome port, I hope you keep making stuff!

this is actually like really helpful in actually making you read notes, rather then just relying on cues

I got a score of 23 on my first try, which was higher than I was expecting! I'm a percussionist in college, and this was really helpful to make practicing sight reading way more fun. Especially any of the "lets"! It'd be cool to see a mode where you could right away encounter some of those trickier rhythms with some of the audio cues. I would legit probably use this as my way to get better at feeling those on my own, so it'd be so fun to see one day!!!

THIS GAME FINALLY EXISTS!!! YAYY!! I love the concept and the gameplay but I wish we could adjust the offset.

(+3)

hOW are yall getting above 10?? My brain is broken by 3

(+2)

very cute!! absolutely love it in theory but the screen shake and chromatic abberration at low hp is a little too brutal for my eyes and i cant look at the screen at all if my hp gets that low. but its fine because i cant read notation anyway so ill just play audio only

(+1)

Very cool game, a lot of fun, but in slow sections at about 15 score point I lost sooo much HP even though I'm doing perfect or almost perfect. Because of this, I'm entering "sudden death" mode for rest of my playtrough, and I'm feeling that I should be alive for more time than I am.

(+2)

god i fell off so bad after the audio cues got removed, but hey at least i now know something more about how to read music (highest record: 14)

also nice recreation! love that you guys added your own parts too

I'm a piano student and I'm in love with this, it's a really nice practice for me, thanks a lot for this game.

What I should let you know though, is that the game is lacking some kind of way to know when to start playing along with the rhythm.

The beat in the background is playing quarter notes in 4/4. This is always consistent. Hence, you start playing on the fifth beat after the notation appears.

0 = fired

So.. this is the game from yt shorts

Cool

(1 edit)

That was delightful thank you :)

If only Unity (PC?) could match the zero apparent audio latency of Rhythm Heaven on consoles.

As others have said this is great for sight-reading practice.

I got 20

OMG this is amazing!!
